Waxing aftercare advice 

Please read the guidance below carefully if you have booked in for a waxing treatment. Please note, however, that the advice is not a substitute for the advice of a medical professional, but merely assistance to help you our client to get the best from your treatment. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch or ask.

  • Keep the waxed area clean

  • Avoid heat and friction for the next 24 - 48 hours 

  • No hot baths or showers (cool , lukewarm water)

  • No saunas, hot tubs, massage or steam treatments 

  • No type of tans 

  • Avoid exercise

  • Avoid scratching or touching the area in which you where waxed with unwashed hands 

  • Wear loose fitting clothes (clean)

  • Avoid swimming 

  • Do not apply deodorants, body sprays, powders, lotions or other products unless your therapist has recommended them. 

  • Use a tea tree oil based product to apply to the area for its antibacterial qualities  

  • To maintain your smooth appearance it is recommended regular waxing every 4-6 weeks 

Please note, some soreness, small bumps and redness are common and perfectly normal temporary reactions, particularly if this is your first waxing. Also in soft areas where the skin is loose ,it can cause these reactions to happen for example bikini line etc. The symptoms should subside over the next few days.
